Name: Hyouketsu Taomaru
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Rank: Mizukage
Village of Origin: Kirigakure
Chakra Element(s): Water, Lightning
Appearance: Character Appearance
Personality: Taomaru is know for seeming to have split personalities. His moods can change in a matter of seconds, alls it takes is the wrong words or actions. His usual personalities are caring and loyal, or brutal and sadistic. While in the pressence of his friends and comrades, he is seen as nothing but a very gentle, and selfless person. However, those who have seen him in combat, however few there are, are terrified by the transformation. They say it is like the actual Taomaru is being possessed by a violent demon. He is very capable of showing mercy, as he has done so before. However when his adrenaline kicks in and takes over, he is unable to show any signs of compassion to those he is fighting, which usually ends up in a slow and painful death for the one who challenged him.
Jutsus:
Name: Kiri Gakure no Jutsu (Hiding Mist Technique)
Type: D-rank, Supplementary
This jutsu envelops the surrounding area in a dense mist, causing anyone within to lose the advantage of sight.
Name: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique)
Type: C-rank, Supplementary
Creates one or more identical copies of the user out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin than to a normal Bunshin, these clones are capable of attacking, except each clone's strength is only one-tenth that of the user. Also, the clones can only be controlled within a certain radius of the user. However, if used by more skilled shinobi, the clones are capable of becoming half as strong as the creator, and having a much wider movement range.
Name: Suiro no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique)
Type: C-rank, Supplementary, Short range (0-5m)
A move used to trap the victim inside a virtually inescapable prison of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep one arm inside the bubble at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This Jutsu cannot be performed without a very large body of water to supply the water for it.
Name: Suiton: Suiryudan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique)
Type: B-rank, Offensive, All ranges
A powerful attack that creates a huge current of water in the shape of a dragon, which is sent towards the opponent. Except when used by extremely powerful ninja, this jutsu can only be done when in or near a body of water.
Name: Suiton: Suijinheki (Water Release: Water Encampment Wall)
Type: B-rank, Defensive, Short range (0-5m)
This jutsu creates a water barrier to protect the user from fire and water attacks. If used by a very skilled shinobi, the jutsu can be made from thin air.
Name: Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu (Water Release: Great Water Vortex Technique)
Type: A-rank, Offensive, Mid- to long range (5+m)
This jutsu uses a large ammount of water to create a large, violently spinning blast of high pressure water, to engulf and drown the enemy. Because the water used for this jutsu is filled with chakra and is pressurized, it make it much harder for the enemy to escape.
Name: Suiton: Bakusui Shoha (Water Release: Exploding Water Shockwave)
Type: A-rank Offensive, Supplementary, Short to mid-range (0-10m)
The user of this jutsu spits a massive stream of water from their mouth, either to engulf and drown an enemy, or to create a large area of water for other uses. This jutsu uses a very large amount of chakra and only the most skilled shinobi can use it wisely.
Name: Mikazuki no Mai (Dance of the Crescent Moon)
Type: A-rank, Offensive, Short range (0-5m)
Creates three kage bunshin of the user, which along with the user attacks in a complicated sword-dancing pattern which confuses the opponent.
History: When Taomaru was born, he was as healthy of a baby as any other. He also happened to be very lucky, for he was born into the family of the Mizukage, his uncle. His father, was also one of the most respected shinobi in the village, however because he was the youngest, was not allowed to become Mizukage. After he was born, Taomaru's mother fell into depression. She would not take care of him, and usually left him with his father, or his uncle. Once Taomaru turned four years old, his mother stopped simply ignoring him, and began to beat and abuse him. However, his father had no idea of what was going on because she always threatened to beat him harder if he ever told.
The abuse lasted until Taomaru turned eight years old and his father allowed him to enroll in the shinobi acadamy. His mother, however, was very much against this, for the sole fact that she did not want her son to defend himself from her abuse. Once Taomaru was enrolled into the acadamy, his father began taking on more missions because he did not need to be around to take care of his son as much. Knowing his father would not be home sometimes, Taomaru would stay late at the acadamy, continuing his studying and training, until the instructors forced him to leave. He would always have to sneak in through his window, but even if his mother did not discover him, she would stumble into his room, and beat him in his sleep. As the abuse went on, Taomaru became more and more aggressive, and when his father noticed and questioned this, he simply turned away.
When it came time to graduate from the acadamy, Taomaru had grown a strong bond with his cousin Hiruko, the Mizukage's son. He and Hiruko did everything together, and Taomaru would often stay at his house, simply to escape his mother. On the day of his graduation to become genin, Taomaru was happy to see his father sitting in the crowd. During the graduation ceremony, when Taomaru went to accept his headband, it was his uncle Ichen, the Mizukage, who presented the headband to him. It was no ordinary headband though. He recieved on of five black headbands showing his excelled talents, and learning abilities. Ichen smiled at him as he handed Taomaru the headband and he slightly smiled back. After the graduation ceremony, his father came and personally congradulated his son, and also gave him four jutsu scrolls of which he had picked up on his previous mission to the Land of Snow. Taomaru hugged his father in gratitude and for one moment, he was happy. After he had saw this, Ichen asked to talk to Taomaru alone. He admitted he knew about the abuse his mother had put him through and apologized he had not done something sooner for he did not realize the extent. Taomaru told his uncle to ignore it as he had tried to do all the past years. Ichen agreed however, he ordered one of his most trusted bodyguards to look over Taomaru and make sure his life was not in danger. He was only 12 years old at this time.
After becoming genin, Taomaru was placed onto a team with Hiruko, much to his enjoyment. He knew it was his uncles doing and he thanked his uncle multiple times. Once he became genin he trained harder than ever, always training with his father, Ichen, and Hiruko. DOing this, he became a very skilled shinobi, in all aspects. Taomaru rarely saw his mother anymore, for his uncle allowed him to stay at his house when his father was not home. Ichen would always talk to Taomaru about the abuse and never understood what was going on. He would attack a jounin on a mission but would not defend himself from his mother. Taomaru simpled said that he sees his mother as more terrifying than any enemy he comes across. Oer the years, he and Hiruko developed their skilled and even mastered a few jutsu. Then came the time for Taomaru to take the chunin exam. He was nervous, but not as some of the others were from his village. When taking the written exam, he knew half of the answers from all the studying he used to do as a student. The others he acquired by using strategically placed mirrors he set up hours before the test. After the written test had been completed, it was onto the Forest of Death. Taomaru was less nervous about this portion because his father had trained him to perfect his tracking skilled and in almost no time, he and his team had acquired both scrolled and began to make their trek to the tower. When they were a little over half-way to the tower, they were ambushed by two teams from the Hidden Crane village. They were working together so they would both pass and seemed as if they were not afraid to kill. When Taomaru did not respond to their threats, they began insulting him, which seemed to be the breaking point for him. He lashed out and began to violently attack the shinobi without remorse. As the others fled or lay unconcious, he approached the one who insulted him. Taomaru unsheathed a kunai and slashed his Achilles tendons, as he smiled and laughed. Hiruko dashed forward and grabbed Taomaru and snapped him out of his sadistic mood, and they ran for the tower.
After entering the tower, they were informed that they would most likely enter directly into the final round without need of a preliminary. This ended up being true as Taomaru's team,as well as three others passed into the final round. Over the one month period before the final round, Taomaru met a shinobi from Kumogakure, who when he first passed him, questioned him on his chakra element. Taomaru had no idea, he was just trained in the jutsus of his village. The Kumo shinobi told him to wait where he was and dashed off. Taomaru was confused but listened. The shinobi came back with a small strip of paper, and told him to focus a little of his chakra into the paper. Taomaru did as he was told, and the paper crumpled up. The shinobi said he recognized a small static discharge as Taomaru trained and said he rcognized the feeling of lightning based chakra. He offered to teach him some jutsus, as well as get in-tune with his lightning chakra. For one month, Taomaru was trained by the lightning shinobi, and after this training had mastered to use his lightning based chakra to his advantage. By using it, he could supercharge his speed and attack strength. On the day of the final round, he looked to the spectators and saw not only his uncle sitting with the Hokage, but his father as well. Once his turn to fight came along, Taomaru was prepared to fight. However, once he stepped into the arena, he began to feel the need to cause his opponent pain. He fought to keep this within himself, and succeeded as the fight began. During the fight, Taomaru showed his skill with his new lightning attacks, as well as showing his intelligence by combining his water based jutsus with his new lightning jutsus, making a very deadly attack. Finally, Taomaru thought up a strategy. Using his newly acquired, lightning charged speed, he hooked a metal string to his opponent's weapon holster. While holding the string, Taomaru concentrated his lightning chakra into the string, electricuting his opponent to the point that he could not move. He was declared a winner, and after that fight, was pronounced eligible to become chunin for his strategies and skill.
Upon returning home, he was greeted happily by his father and uncle, who now treated him as a comrade. They trained together almost everyday and he and his father even tok on missions together.
