I was wondering if any of you guys think some of the jutsus from naruto are actualy possible in RL. Ok, go ahead and call me a nutcase, but oh well. as for the whole long range jump thing I'v gotten to about 7 feet just propeling off with my left leg, but I need somthing about a foot and a half off the ground to propel myself off of. Then theres the walking on water. I'm still working on the flicker technique. I'm pretty much still learning the basics. it kinda takes awhile when you don't have anyone to teach you, and you have to learn them on your own.

Yes, Jutsus from the shows are possible in this site, but you are free to make your own, it just has to be right for your rank and fair to other characters.

No problem. I wasn't realy clear on it anyways. Walking on water is a fun one. controlling fire. lets see, what else. I have near perfect balance even in slipery areas. I do this by releasing chakra from my feet to keep my balance.

You're telling me you can physically walk on water, and (almost, you said "working on") seemingly dissapear by travelling at speeds too fast for the human eye to see?
Sorry, but I find that hard to believe.
Ninjutsu in real life revolved around surprise and tricks to confuse the target or catch them off guard. No matter how experienced or deadly they were, ninja couldn't really perform as well as fiction makes out. It's simply not possible with the human body alone.

As much as how I see this to be cool and wish it was true, I have to argee with Katsumi, all the stuff Yokomaru said (except the jumping 7'feet part) I can't really believe them. None of them are possible because they are impossible for the human body to do like Katsumi said.

lol Imposible? lol I'm sorry, but you can not truely know the possible from the imposible unless you truely know everything about whats is being disputed over. Believe what you wish, and I shall believe as I believe. Just remember. Nothing is truely impossible only improbable.

No. I know for a fact that the human body is more dense than water. Thus, it cannot "walk" on the surface without further aid. Yes, we can float (albeit below the surface), but not walk upright. If you had a way to spread your weight out over such an area to not break the surface tension of the water, or had some way to 'repel' the water from your feet (ie, like some insects can do), then it would be feasable. However unless you have the footprint the size of a small liferaft that cant be done by our body alone.
And, it's physically impossible to accellerate to the speed of light and above from standstill. Hell, humans as a race havn't even come close to that speed with all our technology. Besides, our bare bodies couldn't handle such speed - The geforces alone would tear us apart.
Unless, of course, you're a religious person. Then the laws of physics and the facts of science are naturally and utterly void. Just make sure to say a prayer before you try and defy gravity by launching yourself off of a cliff.
Edit: Just for the record, i'm not having a go at you. I really don't have anything against you and i'd like to get on as best we can, but I do go over the top trying to prove my points sometimes. We might just have to agree to disagree, unless you have more to say. That said, i do enjoy discussions like this, so feel free to continue ;D

I agree with what you said for the most part Katsumi, but there is such a thing called mind over matter. Yes I know that I wont be able to perfect the flicker technique, but there are others I can. Anyways mind over matter is a powerful thing when it is used. everyone uses even without knowing. It has been scientificaly proven that just thinking about somthing happening will cause a greater chance of that being the outcome. I saw a test where they put a kitten in a box with I can't fully remember, but I want to think a snake or somthing. anyways they focused on the kitten coming out unharmed and it did. basicaly all I'm saying in this post is there is somthing to mind over matter.
Edited: May we please end this topic without anymore argument. The subject of all of this is starting to become bothersome. If it at all helps to stop this discussion then your are right. its not possible.
