"Tch!" Senshi grunted as his foot smashed into the ground, he then cart wheeled with his able hand as he move to avoid Zen's attack.
Senshi then fliped up and then he swung his left foot to knock the shurikens away and then he landed on his foot, but then grabbed his left arm in pain as he went down to one leg.
'Damn this arm. I can't fight with one wing.' Senshi thought as he got back to both legs.

Zen crashed through the roof and into the ground. The explosion of dust clouded everything as Zen rose again.
"Huh? What's this?" Zen asked as he looked at his arm. Three shuriken were securely lodged into his arm. "Ah...oh dear...blood." Zen plucked the shuriken out one by one. The blood and shuriken fell to the ground at the same time.
Zen looked straight at Katsumi. His face split into a grin. "You're much much better than you look."
With those words said, he charged at Katsumi with his massive blades.

Seeing that Zen was occupied with Katsumi, Senshi leaped away to a safe distance to mend his broken arm.
He got near a house where he took out his right blade and cut out a small rectangle big enough to fit inside his mouth, he grabbed the piece and move it to his mouth where he began to bite on it as he began to move his right arm to his left...

Katsumi swore inwardly, it was all he could do to dive away from his attacker. He landed in a forward roll and dragged himself to his feet, trying to keep both others in his view. Without drawing attention, he began gathering what was left of his chakra towards his right hand, concentrating as best he could inbetween his short rasping breaths.
"I won't go down that easily!" he shouted, but was already feeling dazed as he put the last of his energy to use. For the last time, he crouched into a ready position and waited for the next move.

His maniacal laughter began again as Zen flipped into a ball and rolled towards Katsumi. His swords were spinning with him, making it almost seem like there was a ring of swords around him. An aura of chakra began to form around Zen. Zen rolled highspeed towards Katsumi

Preparing for the intense pain he was about to receive, Senshi grabbed his left arm with his right yanked it back into place!
"Arrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh!!" Senshi mumbled through the piece of wood in his mouth as he bit into it to vent some pain. Senshi then moved his left arm around to see if it was good, and it was. Senshi then spat out the piece of wood in his mouth and now, Senshi drew both of his blades and returned to battle!
After getting back to where the battle was, Senshi saw the two about to hit each other so, Senshi reeled back and launched himself for a Corkscrew Drive and then he launched off, spinning at both of his targets!

Shit, two targets; One hand...
Well, it was a good run.
Katsumi waited, rooting himself to the spot until both opponents were moments from hitting, trying to anticipate their attacks and the path of their bodies as they spiralled towards him. At the last moment he forced himself into a spin to his left, moving his body out of the direct line of attack and protecting his front at the same time by facing away.
However, he knew he had mistimed his move moments before the cold steel of a sword etched it's signature in his back, penetrating deep before being ripped out by his own momentum. His eyes were wide in shock as he finished his spin and shot his right palm forward, hitting Zen's gut as he came out of his roll to attack.
In his mind, the scene paused. Senshi, his blades still laced with Katsumi's blood, stood behind them both. Hunched over one another, his and Zen's heads were level, having stopped over eachs' left shoulder.
"Chakra Enjintou" he muttered into the ear of his foe, his palm pressed hard against Zen's stomach; he had missed the vital organs, but the damage was done nonetheless - he had severed a vein of the chakra circulatory system at it's root, effectively preventing the flow to many parts of the body. It would heal - and fast - but, temporarily at least, Zen would be forced into unconcsiousness as it's body lost the supply of bodily energy it needed.
As the pain from his wound finally kicked in, Katsumi fell from his target onto his knees, panting heavily and coughing up blood...

Zen's eyes widened as he felt the sharp pain in his stomach. He hunched over and felt his head hit Katsumi's shoulder. The chakra drained out of him as he looked at Katsumi once more. Slowly Zen's vision turned white as he slumped onto the ground.

As Senshi spun his blades slashed into Katsumi back, he could see the blood fly as he pass and landed on his feet. The blood was on his blades as he looked back he could see Zen out cold and Katsumi cough up blood.
Senshi wanted to finish him, but couldn't. Because not only did he dislocate his arm, he also got gash in it and didn't want to risk losing it. "You're lucky boy. If wasn't for this gash in my arm, I would kill you." Senshi said as he made on hand sign and a lightning bolt came down and 'hit' Senshi! A second later, Senshi was gone!

"Shit..."
Katsumi swore once more, in disbelief at what had happened in the past few minutes. Not a half hour ago, the entire group of them were content, sitting down to bowls of ramen and chatting... He rolled onto his back and closed his eyes, trying to regulate his breathing and block out the multitudes of pain that racked his body from his injuries. As he neared unconsciousness, images began flitting to his unwary mind, pestering his desire to rest...
"My name's Kitsu!..."
"...So you like to travel huh?..."
"...Are you okay, Katsu-kun?..."
“...Do you have any friends Katsu-kun?...”
Finally he realized what he was seeing, and only through an extreme push of his willpower did he prevent himself from collapsing as he pulled himself upright. His legs shook and his body moaned as he stood, his lightheadedness causing him to seek the support of a nearby building as he stumbled down the street, searching for the ramen stand where the fight had started. He collapsed several times by the point he passed the ruined cart, and so pulled from it a long wooden spar to be used as a makeshift staff to hold his weight as he walked. With the new aid he made fast progress and quickly arrived at the stand. "Old man...?" He called weakly, but the chef was still nowhere to be seen. He had obviously hidden or ran when the fight broke out and still hadn't returned. But, atleast Kitsu was still there, albeit passed out on the floor where she had fallen.
He called her name and shook her, but her only response was a slight murmur and sleepy grin. He sat on a barstool and rested for another minute or two before trying again, reluctant to give up. Eventually, he knelt beside her and attempted to pick her up in his arms, but fell forward and almost dropped her several times. He looked down briefly at her innocent face and turned away, thinking.
Should I?
He quickly made up his mind, not prepared to abandon a friend, even if they'd just met and barely knew one another. Determined to help her, he pulled his katana's empty sheath from his back and dropped it, before taking her hands and hoisting her up onto the high of his back, wincing painfully as her body pressed against his wound. Hunched over, shaking under the weight of two bodies and supported by his new pole, he began shuffling slowly away from the village and into the surrounding forest.
I can hardly ask locals for help...there's no saying what'll happen if a Mist-nin wanders freely around here, especially in my state... Considering what just happened, it's best I leave as soon as possible... the others may still be around.
"Katsu-kun..."
The sudden softness in the voice from his shoulder made him jump, interrupting his train of thought. He looked to his left where Kitsu's head was still resting, fast asleep and flushed red with drunkenness. He felt himself going a similar shade as he looked away and tried to quicken his pace.
"Kitsu..." he muttered back, knowing that she was oblivious to anything he said. "It's okay. I refuse to let a friend of mine die before me ever again... I'll protect you..." Once again his thoughts drifted back to Mariko, her body crumpled in a pool of blood. "But this time... I won't fail..." he added grimly.
Behind him back at the ramen stand, the discarded saya of his katana - and it's counterpart blade lying the other side of the street - began to diffuse slightly, it's outline weakening and distorting. Discarded from use, it slowly melted into mist and faded away on a slight breeze...
