Kitsu had traveled here with Katsumi by her side. He was heading home, but she...well she was starting over. Her life thus far had been meaningless, however now she felt like she had purpose.
They had come to rest just outside the village. Kitsu was still upset at her unintentional attack on Senshi, but she was content for now to train with Katsumi. Perhaps she could learn another illusion justu or something to save Senshi for the curse she had put him under.
"Katsu-kun?" she asked, then trailed off. Her mind caught by the world around her. She was used to the mist, in fact, this place reminded her of her 'home' outside the Village of Sound. Suddenlt she perked up, "So, what do you wanna do first?" she offered a big smile, in the hopes to lighten the mood.

"First?"
Katsumi removed his arm from Kitsu's shoulder where he had been leaning and looked back at her, returning her smile with a small grin of his own.
"I'd love to fall down and rest right here." he admitted. It was true, after over a week of traveling and training while on the journey home from the Country of Rice Fields with Kitsu, he was beginning to feel his exhaustion. But, the effort hadn't been wasted. He atleast had progressed greatly and learnt several new techniques to add to his repertoire of jutsu. And, he added to his chain of thought, Kitsu was sure to have improved alot too.
"That, and we need to figure out our next move." He sat himself down against a tree and pulled a chunk of dried meat from his pack, something he had taken a liking to since his first try a week and a half prior.
"We've avoided the main routes to and from the village, so it's unlikely we'll be stumbled upon here for now, so we should use this time to think; Would you prefer to wait here and hide yourself, or enter the village with me and hide your identity? You don't have a valid travel pass and the entire town will break into uproar if you're discovered..." He trailed off and sighed. This was becoming more awkward than he had predicted.
It's your own damn fault for bringing her along. You got yourself involved - you should have thought of the risks beforehand.
He ignored his own nagging thoughts as he tried to focus on the matter at hand.
Well, you brought her this far, didn't you? You can't just leave her out here - besides, it could be days before you leave the village again. And, it'll be easier to keep her from being suspicious if you're with her...
The thought of Kitsu - the young, attractive and tempting girl she was - being the in the same household as his overly-perverted father quickly made him reconsider. However no advantage of Kitsu staying in the forest immediately presented itself.
He looked up to her for an answer, all the while the same phrase hammering at his brain.
You're so screwed.

Kitsu smiled happily and sat beside him as he began planning. After a while he had a strange look on his face. Kitsu then flung herself onto him in an enourmous Kitsu-sized hug. "I'll stay with you!" she said, and with one hand untied her headband from her thigh, dangled it before his face then shoved it away into her pocket. "Don't worry, Katsu-kun. Everything will be fine, and hey, didn't you say you wanted to rest? C'mon, it's not like we have to go into the village right now.'' she smiled and looked at him.
She was starting to realize just how much she cared for him. She found herself sighing and feeling him in her arms, her body pressed against him in the friendly-turned-intimate (at least for her) hug. She was exited for what the future would bring.
Her hand snuck down to his belt were she proceeded to steal a peice of dried meat from his pack and put it in her mouth. She smiled again and relaxed, and for a moment, it didn't seem like anything was wrong, for a moment, life was perfect.

Although he enjoyed the hug - as always - after a minute or so had passed Katsumi pushed Kitsu gently away and began to rise.
"Well..." He grinned sheepishly, toying with a rogue strand of hair momentarily as it hung over one of his eyes. "It is like that. We're already two days overdue because we kept stopping to train... Eheh. My fault, I know. And this place wasn't nicknamed the bloody mist village for nothing... Oh, and if something goes wrong or we get separated, let's meet back here, ok?"
He gave her a reassuring glance and began to walk in the direction of the village gates.
"We can always relax in the village. It's got some things the forest can't offer..."
He turned and flashed her a grin, hoping to see her face lighten up.
"Ramen, for one thing"

She perked up and jumped up happily, flining her arms around him as he walked. "Yay ramen! Can we eat soon? I'm so hungry, wow, I haven't had ramen in forever!"
Of course, her stomach was talking, but somehow she caught herself kissing him on the cheek and blushed hard. She let go of him and pranced ahead to hide her red face.
( i've missed you and had to post something. If you want, go ahead and post in the village for the next part)
