Name: Totsuka no Tsurugi [Blade of Ten]
Service Type: Summoner is in control.
Age: N/A
Rank: B
Chakra Type: N/A
Village: N/A
Physical Description:
A gleaming silver katana sheathed in a gloss black saya, the Totsuka no Tsurugi is just that - A sword. Made with the finest craftsmanship, the single-sided blade is exceptionally sharp and made of strong stainless steel, shakudo and orichalcum. The decorated Tsuba (guard) primitively depicts the two halves of the yin-yang symbol, shattered in two, one either side of the blade.
Personality:
While the sword seemingly responds to it's owner and enemies, it is not sentient - it has no consciousness. It is a weapon forged from metal, not a living being in itself, and as such requires no blood sacrifice to summon. It cannot express emotion other than through the damage it can inflict through being wielded, nor can it feel 'pain'. In all senses, it is an ordinary weapon, albeit called forth with a summoning technique rather than stored in one's possessions.
Through the summoning, the sword "chooses" it's master. While it's bearer lives, it will repel the touch of others with an icy-cold shock and, if stolen, seem heavy and unwieldy until either it is dropped, or the thief kills the summoner -- It will align itself with whoever next takes hold of it after it's 'master's death, as it tries to move to stronger and stronger masters.
To the summoner, it is strangely light and fast to use - much the opposite of it's feel if stolen. A warm radiance engulfs it's bearer and it will respond - albeit primitively - to their touch during times of emotion or anticipation.
Contract History:
Unknown. The blade will have passed from summoner to killer countless times, bound to no one family, village, or clan. The names inscribed upon the summoning scroll are generally random as it's past owners aren't related in anyway other than through death in battle.
Name: Amanojaku [Spirit Of The Ocean]
Service Type: The summoner is in control, and can manipulate the water at will.
Age: N/A
Rank: B
Chakra Type: Water
Village: Kirigakure [Hidden Village of Mist]
Physical Description:
An entity of water, usually flowing from the summoner into a pool, but can also be called forth as a floating 'orb' of water when controlled precisely with chakra.
Personality:
None. The summon is purely water, controlled with the summoners chakra - it is not a creature in itself nor can it respond as such. It cannot act independently of the summoner, but due to the chakra within it cannot be controlled by others against the summoners will.
Contract History
None. Only the base summoning technique is used, and there is no scroll of which to sign - the water is not called forth from an alternate dimension like other summons, but merely dragged from one place to another. While it IS a summoning technique, the jutsu itself has nothing else in common with other summonings.
The base technique is taught in the village of mist's academy, although the finished jutsu was developed by Kuninobu Katsumi. That said, it is not unique to him, as others may have done the same.
