Name: Ryuu ( Full name: Orochiryuumaru (dragon of the snakes))
Age: 23
Gender:Male
Rank:Chuunin (doesn’t care about his rank. He just lives without care).
Appearance:(see signature) Fair skinned with long dark hair. He’s almost the spitting image of the late Orochimaru, however his façade carries a kinder expression and a smile when he can help it. He’s tall and his eyes are always changing from the calm green to the violent snake-like yellow of the monster within.
Personality: Kind and light hearted. Most of the time one can find him sitting by himself reading or watching the clouds. When it comes to a serious situation he tends to laugh it off, but somehow manages to do well anyway. He likes talk to people, but is afraid to make friends, for fear that his dark side will do something to them.
However he has a darker side. Sometimes, when he is at his limit a darker persona will take over. Changing both his appearance and personality. He becomes a different person entirely. Almost as if Orochimaru himself returns from the grave to use him, when he can no longer repress him.
He never sulks, despite the pain he lives with, and blames himself for all the misdeeds the "ghost" makes him do.

History
Ryuu was actually born in Konoha, however he spent his entire life in the Village of Rain. His family had left Konoha when they were banished by the Hokage of the time. Banished why? Because of him. His resemblance to Orochimaru frightened the people of Konoha, despite the fact that he would rather be in a field with his books, than using others to gain power.
As a child, when he through fits over small things his appearance shifted to a more sinister look. However his parents kept him, thinking it was a gift, and not a curse that had had such repressed power. However, as he got older and began studying to be a ninja, he began fighting against this “Orochimaru” that people seemed to thin he was. So that’s when he decided he was going to be Orochimaru’s opposite.
When he turned 18, he started having dreams. The dreams depicted scenes of snakes, cruel laughter, and a dark voice, the voice of Orochimaru. Once these dreams began he left home, out of fear that somehow this “Orochimaru” would use him to claim their lives. As he got older, the dreams became more frequent, and Orochimaru’s voice more prominent in his mind; as much as he wanted to research this mental plague, he decided against it in fear that knowing more, would make Orochimaru’s power over him stronger.
At the age of 19 he met a young girl name Tsubaki. One night, without warning, Ryuu found himself stabbing her to death after she had told him of a forbidden technique she had obtained and telling him how to accomplish it. Later, he discovered Orochimaru had taken control of his body to kill her, as she had discovered his immortality technique. He had used Ryuu to kill her in an attempt to keep his technique to himself. From that night on, the ghost in Ryuu’s mind would feed on his anger to become more powerful, hoping that he could once again take control, or try to use Ryuu when his guard is down. He tries to forget the incident, and goes on with his life as his normal, kind-hearted self.
However, Orochimaru still plagues his dreams and talks to him at night, filling his head with dark thoughts of power, however Ryuu finds peace during the day. He reads his books and writes his stories and songs to block out the darkness floating the the back of his mind; forever plaguing him, the ghost of Orochimaru.
Note: So basically Ryuu has a split personality possessed by Orochimaru. Or maybe he’s just crazy. Either way, he’s cool and nothing like that evil, snaky, guy. Also, his name is quite long, in Japanese culture a name with many syllables was signifigant.

Why? Why? Go away! Thought Ryuu as the images poured in once again. I don’t want to hurt her!
Oh you do.Said the voice, she knows my secret. Kill her.
No! No! He thought, I won’t!
You will! The voice boomed.
Ryuu sat up, the flowing of water from the heavens enhanced the chill of the night, the sky weeping at the deed he was about to do. But it wasn’t him, his eyes burned yellow his grown more pale than before. His body stood, making it’s way to Tsubaki’s bedroom, kunai in hand.
She lay there peacefully, sleeping soundly, dreaming happily, judging by the slight smile on her face.
I love you Ryuu!
Lets live together!
Look at what I found!
We could live forever![/color]
Her voice echoed in Ryuu’s mind. No! Stop it! I won’t let you hurt her!
His body recoiled holding his head tightly and falling to it’s knees, as he battled the ghost of his mind.
It’s mine! Screamed the voice.
No! But Ryuu’s fighting wasn’t enough. His body stood once again. But Tsubaki woke up,
“What are you doing Ryuu?” she asked, eyes wide with fear, gazing up at the kunai he wielded. His face twisted into a malevolent twisted smirk, his eyes widened into a crazed look. Darkness overtaking him.
“Ryuu, what are you-!” she was cut off as his body moved against his will, plunging the kunai into her, over and over. Her blood staining his face and clothes, covering his hands in crimson; tears streaming down his face as the ghost killed her. His arm kept thrusting the blade into her flesh, until she no longer resembled the beautiful girl that loved him.
The cruel laugher filled his mind and escaped his mouth. “It’s mine again, no one else will use it!” With that, ghost retreated back into Ryuu’s mind. Leaving him alone, sobbing at his loss. He looked at the mutilated corpse of his fiancée, and ran. He ran out of the house, into the rain; thunder berating him for his misdeed. The wind seemed to howl accusingly; even the animals seemed to glare from their homes. He ran on, and on and didn’t stop until he collapsed just outside the forests surrounding the village.
The next morning, he awoke covered in mud and the blood of Tsubaki. Images of the previous night filled him, her face, so confused, pleading until her life had drained. By his hands, his own hands. He decided now he couldn’t ever return to the village. He would be known as a murderer by now, so he moved on. At the next village he came to, he fashioned himself new clothes and continued on his way. Reading a book to distract himself from the memory of the night before, and every painful memory thereafter.
