Name: Ryusando, Tohiryuu
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Rank: Chuunin
Appearance:Approximately 5'6'', Ryusando (he refers to himself by his last name) does not seem very noticeable. He has long silvery-white hair, which stops at his shoulders. He is rather pale, despite living in Sunagakure (Sand). Rather than wear a forehead protector, Ryusando has the Sand logo tattooed onto his forehead. He has no visible pupils or irises, leaving him to appear being blind. (This isn't from a Bloodline or Clan ability, but just because he made a dumb mistake).
He wears a white martial artist robe and pants, with a loose rope for a belt. Across his back are his two favored weapons, a pair of oversized kunai which are often mistaken for short-swords. In addition, he carries in his pouches several sets of glass kunai and shuriken, as well as the real metal ones. Occasionaly, he can be seen in his black chunin vest, but he rarely wears it in the desert heat.
Personality: Ryusando is cold and aloof, having taken the term of a "human weapon" to heart. He values freedom, and will often leave his team to go it alone. He almost never stands at full height, and generally never wears any indication of his rank in order to cause others to underestimate his abilites. He always makes a point of emphasizing the importance of following ones Ninja-way (his only words of advice are my sig). Almost ironically, he refuses to tell anyone what his own ninja-way is, preferring to keep his secrets to himself.
In combat, Ryusando will rarely communicate with anyone, friend or foe. He finds it much easier to remain hidden when not labored down by another ninja. He despises having to command large groups, because he takes total responsibilty for their deaths or injuries. Instead, he preferst to take on individual missions, or missions with other ninja of his own rank or higher.
Village of Origin: Sand
Jutsus: The basics:
Kawarimi (Replacement),
Bunshin (Clone)
Henge (Transform)
Shunshin ("body" flicker)
He is also familiar with basic lightning style jutsu (nothing he'd use in combat).
Channeling lightning chakra, usually into his two large kunai. (I guess you could call chanelling the charka a jutsu. However, it uses no seals. Unlike Chidori, this doesn't cut through things (anymore than the blade does), but instead stuns the enemy on a successful hit.
Weapon-kage bunshin. (I.E. Shadow Shuriken, Shadow Kunai, ect.)
Lightning Bunshins
Blinding Flash (Kenjutsu)
History: Ryusando had an uneventful childhood. He took the words "human-weapon" to heart, abandoning his non-ninja parents without a single regret. He passed the ninja academy exam at the top of the class, and was thus assigned to a team with the weakest and middle ninjas of the class.
His adventures with that team were relatively uneventful until the last two fateful missions.
Three weeks after the Chunin exam, which Ryusando alone of his team had passed, the group were assigned to track a weapons-dealer selling weapons to a group of rogue-nin. Ryusando had only expected to find a few chunin, or possibly a jonin rank nin. Instead, a team of 3 S-rank nin were there. After their sensei sacrificed their lives to save the team, the three thought they had escaped. One of the missing-nin tracked them, however, killing Ryusando's teammates as he watched.
Ryusando had only one hope before the man killed him, so he charged all of his lightning chakra into his eyes. With this experiment, he created the blinding flash. However, it cost him his irises, leaving him looking to all the world like a blind man.
After Ryusando returned to Sand alone, he was given leave to grieve as much as necessary. After a single day, Ryusando returned to the Kazekage, requesting to be placed on an ANBU squad, which leaves us where we are now.
RP Sample: Ryusando enters the battle quietly. He has been tracking his foes across the desert for three days, and is not about to give up his element of surpise so easily. His first technique is a henge, becoming a boulder which appears undetectable amongst the piles of sand and rocks. As soon as his foes have lost their suspicions, he generates three of his lightning bunshins and sends them to attack the enemies. While doing so, he pockets a rock, and prepares to use it as the subject of a Replacement technique.
Then, charging his lightning into his long kunai, he flickers into the enemies blind spot. To his suprise, they are still fighting his bunshins, so he henges into a boulder again. Unfortuately, the puff of smoke created by the technique alerts one of the men. He taps his companion on the shoulder, spinning to face Ryusando. The other foe turns as well, but is caught by the lightning bunshin and paralyzed by it's shock.
Utilizing his opprotunity, Ryusando releases his Henge and readies a Shunshin flicker, while at the same time palming three traditional kunai.
The still mobile foe flickers through a set of complicated hand seals. They are far too fast for Ryusando to read, but from the speed, he gathers that his opponent is most likely a mid-to-close range ninjutsu specialist. Lacking any elemental defense techniques, he simply allows the justsu to come.
He recognizes his mistake a moment to late as a set of three Senbon (throwing needles) fly toward him. One pierces his arm, but the other two miss by a narrow margin. He feels the poison take hold of his arm as the man then releases his chakra.
"Wind Style: Hurricane Blast!"
It is not a jutsu Ryusando is familiar with. Rather than risking an attempt at a traditional dodge, he utilizes the flicker he had prepared earlier, landing behind the stunned opponent and holding a kunai to his throat.
"Drop your weapons." He mutters, trying not to converse with his foes too much, as he glares at the other man, who laughs to himself. Sensing a trap, Ryusando palms four glass shuriken.
"A bit over-confident, aren't you?" The man asks. Ryusando remains silent, scanning the area and listening to his surroundings while tuning out the man. Due to the absense of pupils, the man still believes Ryusando is staring directly at him.
"Look around, kid." Ryusando resists the urge to listen to the man, instead slowly slicing away the belt pouches and stealing the scrolls of the enemy he holds hostage. It is at that moment that the man reveals that he is no longer stunned. Ryusando feels the kunai sink deep into his leg, scraping bone. With no further options, he resorts to his last trick.
Channeling chakra to the injured leg, he jumps into the air, spinning as he releases his glass shuriken. Barely half a second later, his hands are flickering through seals. The men throw kunai and senbon at him. He narrowly dodges all the kunai, but allows the non-lethal senbon to strike him.
His shuriken hit their targets, although those are not the men. Instead, they smash against four evenly spaced rocks, sending shards of glass into the air. While the shards are still airborne, Ryusando releases his technique, using all but the tiniest sliver of his chakra.
"Blinding Flash!" He shouts, letting the light reflect off the glass in the air. At once, both men cluctch their eyes, but the damage is done. Ryusando throws two kunai, and the job is done. Despite the tinies innter twinge of regret, he shows no emotion for the kills. Carefully, he removes the senbon from his body, and kunai from his leg. Slowly, he limps away from battle, settling down on a rock. With the last shards of his strenght, he swings his right arm the puncture hole in his left arm, identifying that the poison on the senbon is a paralyzing agent, and not a lethal substance. Apparenlty, they wanted someone alive. With his fears layed to rest, he succumbs to the poison and fatigue, letting himself fall asleep. If it had been a lethal poison, he would have died, unable to heal himself.
