Shikashi walked the dusty streets the wind blowing his wild red hair around even through this thick layer of sand that covered the buildings around him it still seemed that he knew exactly where he was going.
He turned on his heels and looked up and down the building in front of him the sign above the door said 'Kazekage' he pushed open the door and quietly shut it behind him he then began the long walk up the winding staircase that leaded to the Kazekage's office.

Ishida was walking into The Village Hidden in the Sand with a travelers cloak to prevent sand from getting into his eyes. He had left his country to travel the land and he first decided to examine the Wind Country and it's main village.
'This is the first time I ever been out of my country...I wonder how these people live? In this consant sandstorm...it reminds me of the snowstorms back in the mountains at home... just not as painful.' Ishida thought as he blocked his eyes before more sand can be blown into it. Ishida continued to walk through the village to see if he can learn anything.

Shikashi moved up to the door of the Kazekage's office and knocked quietly there was no answer so Shikashi entered the room the Kazekage wasn't there he must be out he thought to himself so he turned on his heels and exited the room.
Once he got to the bottom of the winding staircase he pulled open the door and walked back into the street as he made a turn around the first corner a man came into sight that he had never seen before and judging by his forehead protector he certainly wasn't from this village.
Shikashi approached the man with caution "Can I help you?" he said over the wind he was very cautious because the man had his face covered I wonder what his business is here Shikashi thought to himself.

Ishida turned a corner and ran into a boy with red hair, by the looks of it he was from this village.
"Don't mind me kid, I'm just passing through." Ishida said as he began to walk away but then he got an idea, "But...Do you have any idea where I can see any good jutsus?" Ishida asked. His main reason why he was traveling the country was because to study the other countries' jutsus and train to counter them.
Since he's here, might as well see if he can study this countries' jutsu.

Shikashi looked up through the dust and looked at the man "If you wanted to see good jutsu's I would point you towards my great grandfather but he's out of town at the moment and the Kazekage isn't here either so sorry I have no idea" he said.
Shikashi turned around but then noticed he had forgotten to ask something he looked over his shoulder at the man "May I ask of your name?" he looked at the man and awaited an answer.

"Nanzou. Nanzou, Ishida." Ishida introduced himself. Ishida studied the kid before him and couldn't help but think that he heard of him from somewhere. Somewhere, but he couldn't put his finger on it.
"Thanks for helping, I guess wander around until I find someone." Ishida thought out loud as another gust of wind blew by. "So what's your name, kid?" Ishida asked, hoping that talking to this kid will come back to haunt him.

"The names Sabaku no Shikashi you may have heard of my great grandfather Sabaku no Gaara" he examined the mans fore head protector "So what village are you from the image on your forehead protector doesn't seem familiar?".
The reason for this mans visit still confused Shikashi why would this man only be here to study the village hidden in sand's jutsu's there must be a different reason for his visit he thought to himself.

'Sabaku no Gaara. That's where he seem so familiar!' Ishida exclaimed in his mind, but now was faced with a problem, this kid was starting to ask questions that if Ishida answered, he could get into some serious hot water.
"Listen, Shikashi. I come from a village far to the north, where it used snow all the time. You probably never heard of it, since the regeining family decided to keep weather spring always losing our main source of power!" Ishida shouted/ranted, Oh how he hated the Kazehana.

Shikashi gazed upon this mans angered face "It saddens me to hear of this problem in your village most people here aren't aware of things going on in other village's" a frown overwhelmed Shikashi's face "I can understand the anger and the hate you have towards the reigning family of your village and honestly I can say that if I had the power I would help you and your village"
He looked down and watch the sand and dust around his feet quickly change direction and gain momentum "We should probably get moving theres a sandstorm coming and if you thought the sand now is bad it's going to get worse we need to find shelter" he turned and pointed towards a small sand covered house and beckoned Ishida to follow him.

Shikashi walked to the house that he pointed to and Ishida followed him. "Hey, Shikashi." Ishida called out to him, "Thanks for showing concern about my country, but you shouldn't involve yourself in other countries affairs, it's for them to kill other each other to decide whatever the hell they what to do with the country." Ishida advise him.
"Besides, it's not worth fussing over it now. My country is now just a tourist attraction, a vacation spot."

Shikashi stopped in front of the door "Your probably right I do hope that your country does recover from the reign of those horrible people that have turned it into a tourist attraction" he grinned at Ishida and then pulled open the door.
He entered and began shifting things around pulling weapons maps and other things off the table and then he pulled two chairs up to the table he looked up towards the door and saw Ishida still standing there "Please come in I know it's not much but it's livable and could I offer you a cold drink?" he asked.

Ishida walked from the door and sat down on one of the chairs, "Thanks, a cold drink would be nice." Ishida said as he sat in his chair. His traveling in the desert has made him a bit thirsty.
Ishida looked at the inside of the house and saw that it was really different from the houses of his country. Just one of the many things he has to learn as he travels across the land.
"So Shikashi, are you a ninja?" Ishida asked, "Just wondering since your Great Grandfather is none other than the Godaime Kazekage, Sabaku no Gaara."

"Yes, yes I am a ninja but I'm still only genin but I'm training really hard to bacome better" he said as he placed two cups of ice cold water on the table "I hope you like water it's all I have right now I usually have freshly squeezed orange juice but my great grandfather hasn't come back with orange's from the village hidden in the leaves for a long time"
He took a seat opposite Ishida then lifted his cup to his lips and took a sip then he placed his cup back down and sighed as he listened to the wind get stronger and stronger outside the door.

"Oranges, huh? Hm. I heard that oranges were hard to come by in my country before it turn to spring." Ishida said as he took a sip of his water while paying attention to the inceasing winds outside.
'Hm....I wonder if the sands will interfere with my Ice jutsus?' Ishida thought as he took another sip of his water. After he finishing taking his sip, Ishida let out a sign that showed some frost beathing out of his mouth. His body was adapted to the cold and since he has a Ice jutsu that allows him to shoot ice from his mouth. That was reason why he was beathing out frost.
"So Shikashi, have you ever been outside of your country yet?" Ishida asked.

"No I've never left the village my great grandfather won't allow it until I become a Chunin" he put down his glass then looked up to see ice coming out of his mouth he continued to watch the ice float towards the floor before looking up and asking "How exactly did you do that?" he was amazed by the ice and he really wanted to know how it happened.
He picked up his water again and sipped at it as he awaited an answer from Ishida.
